Don't Be Surprised When Trouble Comes
In this world we [born-again believers] will be targeted as those who don't worship any other god but Jesus Christ. It is Satan' purpose to steal kill and destroy -John 10:10; our hope, joy, peace, faith, and walk with Jesus. Satan wants to, ultimately, steal our eternal life with Christ Jesus. Satan will stop at nothing to discourage and distract us. There will be some suffering on our part, "...But don’t be ashamed if you suffer as one who belongs to Christ. Rather, honor God as you bear Christ’s name. Give honor to God (1 Peter 4:16 CEB) Blessed are those who are insulted or persecuted falsely for Christ' sake (Matthew 5:11) "In this you rejoice greatly, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith, which is much more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested and purified by fire, may be found to result in [your] praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:6-7 AMP.
