First, We Need to Know Why we are Destined to a life Without God
In order to know why we are destined to a life without God, we need to know that we are born sinners. In God's Word (Holy Bible) the book of Genesis Ch.1 tells us in vs 1-26 how God created the heavens and the earth, moon and stars, grass the trees, and herbs, creatures and every living thing that moves, until finally He made man in His image - with a will to choose. His name was Adam. God called Him Adam because he was made from the soil of the Earth. Adam had everything at his disposal except a companion so God made for Adam a woman. Unlike Adam who was made from the Earth's soil Eve was made from a rib bone taken from Adam's side. Adam called the woman who'd be his wife, Eve. He called her Eve because she represents the function of women which is to give life. They were in a garden called Eden which was like a sort of Heaven on Earth. In the Garden they could eat, drink, and be merry. God told them to be fruitful and multiply. There was only one thing God commanded of the man, which was "... from the tree of the knowledge (recognition) of good and evil you shall not eat, otherwise on the day that you eat from it, you shall most certainly die [because of your disobedience].” Genesis 2:17 AMP That commandment was given to Adam and broken by Adam which put all of mankind into an eternal state of sin; disconnected from God, doomed to perish. Adam' disobedience got him and his wife expelled from the Garden of Eden which, as previously noted, left mankind eternally doomed. Eve' punishment for her part made all women after her to experience labor in great pain and her husband would rule over her and he'd be responsible for her Genesis 3:16. Now we know why we became disconnected from God and considered sinners. It was by one man's fall from Grace.
Second - We need to know Who Can Change The Outcome of a Life Without God
It took one man Adam in the Old Testament to put us in a sin state which eternally disconnected man from God, doomed to hell. And so, it took One man Jesus Christ {God's only Son} to reconcile us back to God through His blood shed by way of Crucifixion on the Cross. The Word of God (Holy Bible) tells us in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son {Jesus as a ransom} that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. According to the book of John 14:6, Jesus is the way the truth and the life. We cannot come to God except through Jesus, because He is the One Who gave His life for ours on the cross, He is the One Who paid the price for us, He is the One. There is no other one or way to escape sins penalty of eternal death except to believe in God's Son Jesus. We can change the outcome by repenting (having a change of mind), accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior today. We accept Jesus because He is the One Who, by our placing our Faith in Him, can change our standing with God. By placing our Faith in Jesus, we will be Heaven bound.
Third - We Can Learn How to Live our Life Happily Ever After
Because Jesus paid it all. We should have an attitude of gratitude. Romans 5:8 tells us that scarcely for a righteous man will one die for, and perhaps for a good man will one dare to die for, but Jesus died for us while we were sure enough sinners. For that we should be eternally grateful Jesus is Lord of our lives. "Rejoice always and delight in your faith; be unceasing and persistent in prayer; in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. 1Thessalonians 5:16-18 AMP
