To Be or Not to Be

....is a statement of a mind torn between two things, being and not being, where being means life and action and not being...well you get the picture.

"....a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways (James 1:8).

What or Who is Your Faith In

If your faith be in Jesus Christ and Him crucified your being, if not your life is stagnant.

A stagnant life is one where there is nothing flowing. It's like a stream without inflow and outflow. It neither advances nor develops. You are basically dying of thirst. We no longer have to thirst. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.17For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.(John 3;16-17) Jesus paid it all! ..Jesus stood and cried, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water (John 7:37-38).” He is not asking for your performance, but your change of heart to turn from your own ways to His ways. When you place your faith in Him, your inner most being will be satisfied; not wanting for anything that this world can offer. You will be so full of God's loving Holy Spirit you won't be able to contain Him. And, you won't ever think about not being again. Everything that was trying to kill you; depression, greed, hatred, covertness, and the like, will have to flee.

Jesus Gives True Rest - The great Invitation

Jesus said, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30).

Jesus is the only one Who can give true rest through your faith in Him and His finished work on the Cross. He sacrificed His life for us there for the world to see. We can all just learn "to be" in Him. Just believe. Jesus' only requirement to this rest is faith in Him.

" I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Romans 12:1-2).
