"The man of too many friends [chosen indiscriminately] will be broken in pieces and come to ruin, but there is a [true, loving] friend who [is reliable and] sticks closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24 AMP)
Be Mindful of the Company You Keep
All over the world people are experiencing loneliness. The reasons are many. Loneliness can stem from trust issues, fear of being hurt, feelings of inadequacy, not fitting in and the list goes on. Feelings like these can cause one to isolate him or herself which may pose a bigger problem. Understand that you are enough. Be yourself. You have nothing to prove.
Too Many Friends
Real life can not be compared to social media because they are vastly different. A person can not truly have a million or more friends and know them intimately. Social media gives one a false since of self esteem, because of all of the likes and followers called friends. It is dangerous to the psyche of many as they are led to believe that they are truly loved by many, until one starts to loose friends and followers. No one wants to loose friends, but too many friends can ruin a man. "The man of too many friends [chosen indiscriminately] will be broken in pieces and come to ruin, but there is a [true, loving] friend who [is reliable and] sticks closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24 AMP)"
Choose Your Friends Wisely
A friend is someone you know and have an intimate bond with or a mutual affection with. He or she is someone you got to know in time through building a heart-to-heart relationship of trust, commitment, respect, and love. Know this, you do not lack the quality of what it takes to truly love or be loved. We all need friends who care enough to stick close. Just choose your friends wisely. Truly, our greatest friend is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the only One Who will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5)
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Put it all in His hands. Have a blessed stress-free worry-free day on purpose, and never stop believing Jesus paid it all.
