Our Plans are not God's Plans

Updated: Aug 17

"Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails (Proverbs 19:21). It is very easy to get caught up in the things that you are doing. So much so, that God is not reverenced as He deserves to be. Spending time with God is a benefit and a necessity. God says, "I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11).

Before You Start Your Day, Pray

Prayer is a gift from God, which need not be neglected. It is in the time of prayer that a man's spirit can tune into God. Prayer is thee method of communion with God. It is the way that one can request for God's help. In everything we do we must make our request known to God by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6). So prayer is also an expression of worship and giving thanks to God.

Let's Get The Day Started

Seek the Lord before your busy day takes over your thoughts. Find a quiet place where you can focus on God's presence, for He is always with us (Isaiah 41:10). Take action to pray and praise God on a regular basis. Even if you have to get up early in the morning to pray, do it!

Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow
