God Gives Us The Power to Will and to Do (Philippians 2:13)
In order to receive the power to obey God, live in victory, enjoy His blessings and inherit eternal life, we must first believe. "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:10). Jesus broke the power of sin and death (Romans 6:1-11).
No One, not even Satan, Can Take Your Will
Satan is thee master deceiver. Don't listen to His lies. His only purpose is to deceive you into breaking your communion with, and turn your back on, God. However, he cannot cross the blood of Jesus. It is Jesus' Blood shed for us that gave us, and continues to give us, the power to will and to do for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). Trust Him. God paid the ultimate price in sending His only Son [Jesus] to be crucified for mankind; whosoever will believe (John 3:16), in order that we may be saved from sin and death..
If You are in Christ Jesus, You are Free From Sin and Death
"Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward. How then can we escape if we neglect so great a salvation ....(Hebrews 2:1-3).
Jesus is the Way, the Truth , and the Life (John 14:6). We have redemption in Him (Ephesians 1:7). Jesus is the only One who keeps the minds of those who's minds are stayed on Him; in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3).
