What are the Two Main Reasons People Change?

"Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures (Luke 24:45). Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect (Romans 12:2). We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God and take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

Believe

Believe God's Word. His Word (Holy Bible) tells us in the book of Mark chp.11 vs 24, that whatever we ask in prayer, believe that we have received it, and it will be ours. We are to believe that as we apply God's Word to our lives it will open our minds to the things that are good, acceptable, and perfect in His sight. God, through His Holy Spirit, will give us a better understanding of His Word. God's purpose is for us to receive His gift of eternal Life, through His Son Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (John 3:16-17). God's Word has the power to change any mind; whosoever will. Submit your thoughts to Him. If you are willing, God's Word will give you the power to"..... destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of [Him] God and take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

Receive

Believe God's Word. His Word (Holy Bible) tells us in the book of Mark chp.11 vs 24, that whatever we ask in prayer, believe that we have received it, and it will be ours. Let go of all of the things in your heart that hurt you. Ask God, "Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me (Psalm 51:10). If you are praying this sincere prayer, it's because God has already begun a new work. He's already worked on your surrendered thoughts. God said in the book of Ezekiel chp.36 vs 26-27 "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. God hears you. "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:

A broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise (Psalm 51:17).
