God's Prescription
When a man is sick he takes his medications in order to feel better. Those medications offer some form of relief from his physical sicknesses, albeit temporary. However, there is only one prescription for man's spiritual healing. God's Word is His prescription for man. It can, and will, heal all of man's infirmities and afflictions, both wholly and permanently. Jesus is God's Prescription. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:16-17). We can believe and trust in God because He is not like us; He does not lie (Numbers 23:19). God's Word is from everlasting to everlasting and accomplishes everything that He sent it to do (Isaiah 55:11).
Believe
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones (Proverbs 3:5-8). Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8). We must turn every area of our life over to God. in order to receive all that He has in store for us.
