Shammah Took a Stand
"....he stationed himself in the middle of the field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the Lord brought about a great victory.(2 Samuel 23:12).
God's Word (Holy Bible) warns us (believers) in the book of 2 Timothy chapter 3:1-7, that perilous times are coming. Believers in Jesus Christ are encountering all sorts of attacks, deception via false doctrine, and all sorts of worldly distractions which will leave one lukewarm and in danger of loosing one's salvation (Revelation 3:14-22). It's not going to get better if we lose focus on and Faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. One's only hope is to put, and keep, his Faith in and focus on Jesus (Romans 15:13). The world has nothing to offer. "The thief (devil) comes not, but to steal, kill, and destroy: I (Jesus) am come that they (believers in Jesus) might have life, and they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). Jesus said He is the Way, Truth, and Life.... (John 14:6). He is the Good Shepherd (John 10:11). Have Faith in Him. Let nothing or no one put you in a state of fear and steal the seed God has planted in you. "Fight the good fight of Faith, lay hold on Eternal Life (1 Timothy 6:12).
Take a Stand and Stay Focused On Jesus
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved (John 3:16)
