Nothing in This World could Satisfy the Soul of Man
Life is meant to be a pleasure not a rat race. Ever notice how the pace of life seems to be getting faster and faster and your needing to work harder and harder for less? One can hardly enjoy the things he labored so hard for. How can he? I mean, can man truly be satisfied with his money and things without the time to enjoy or appreciate them? If one should get the chance to take a break to relax, or play, would he even enjoy or be satisfied? "Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. (Ecclesiastes 1:2, KJV)."The soul of man is so big, that only God can fill it up." "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? (Mark 8:36, KJV). Jesus said, "The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they (whosoever will believe) might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10, KJV) Jesus is the satisfying source of life. Without Him life is pointless.
Without Christ Life is pointless
The only good thing for a man' soul is Christ in it. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life (John 3:16). Accept the free gift of God. You have tried the rest now try the best. Have faith and give Jesus a try. Fill your mind heart and Spirit with the Word of God daily. He is thee source of life. Jesus is the Vine we are the branches (John 15:5, KJV). "Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain who build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman wakes but in vain (Psalm 127:1, KJV)
