God has the Final Say
We can make all of the plans we want, but we can do nothing apart from God's sovereignty. The final consequence of the plans we make is in God's hands. That is not to say don't plan for your life, only line those plans up with God's will in mind. Ask Him for advice. "...Anyone who needs wisdom should ask God, whose very nature is to give to everyone without a second thought, without keeping score. James 1:5 CEB
God is in Control
"We know that God works all things together for good for the ones who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 CEB God works in all things. He is able to turn even the not so fortunate things around to work for our good. Some circumstances will be panful, however even those things will, in the end, work out for the good of those who love and put their trust in the Lord.
There is Plenty to praise God For
Davis said to himself, "Let my whole being bless the LORD! Let everything inside me bless his holy name!
