Accept and Trust God's Redemption Plan
Since Adam's sin, man has been living in darkness separated from God (Genesis 3). Yet God chose to redeem us. He sent His only Son Jesus to shed His blood for us. Jesus shed blood is the basis for the Salvation of man. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness; remission of sin (Hebrews 9-22). Some will reject God's free unmerited redeeming gift and continue to live in total darkness separated from God. Understand that choosing to reject God's gift is choosing an Eternal death sentence. That is, total darkness, far from Salvation; FOREVER separated from God. Repent, believe, and trust in Jesus. Jesus is the only Way (John 14.6). By God's Grace shown toward us, Jesus' atoning death changed the status between God and man. Thankfully, we who once lived in darkness far from Salvation separated from God, through faith, are now reconciled back to Him (Ephesians 2). Repent, place your Faith in Jesus, and see the Salvation of the Lord.
