Go Back to Where You First Believed
"Remember therefore from where you are fallen and repent, and do the first; or else I will come unto you quickly, and will remove your candlestick out of his place, except you repent (Revelation 2:5 KJV)
When did You stop depending on Jesus?
If you can't remember, it must be that it's been a long time. I don't know what made you stop depending on Jesus but it's not His fault that you did. I understand disappointment, loneliness, and the need to feel again. Go back! Remember the Cross where you first believed.
Somewhere Along Your Walk You Took Your Eyes of Jesus
Life's ebbs and flows are getting more and more daunting. You don't have to be afraid nor do you have to try and control everything. I'm actually praying about me being a control freak. I understand through trial and error that God is in control. I know that now and I believe somewherein your heart you know that as well. God's Word says, "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: ” (1 Peter 5:6 -7 KJV)KJV) Time is what's of the essence. We know how much time we have behind us, but we don't know how much time we have in front of us. “while it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. (Hebrews 3:15 KJV) If you find yourself struggling, it's because God is still calling. Answer the call.
Do You Still Belive?
Be strong. It's not going to get any easier to follow Jesus. The DEVIL is trying to grab as many souls down with him as possible. I don't now how far you feel you fell, Just do a 180 and align your faith, even the size of a mustard seed, back to the Word of God with the Word of God. Jesus is the living Word. He hears and He understands. "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15 KJV) Don't over think. Just remember all of the things He has already done. "Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: ” (Isaiah 55:6KJV) “.... He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” saiah 53:5-6 KJV It's Jesus Christ and Him Crucified. He did it just for us not to go to Hell.
This Life Isn't going to Get any Easier
Jesus said, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”(John 16:33 KJV) He talked about hearts waxing cold, and people scattering all over the place. Watching out for false prophets. All of these things must be. You, however, can hold to God's unchanging hand. Get out of your head and into your God's heart. Talk to God. He hears you even when your mouth isn't moving. Do it today and from now on. Obey the Word Love your neighbor, pray for those who spitfully use you, and keep your eye on the prize.
It's Not a Competition but it is a Race
In racing and other athletic competitions only one person wins receives a prize. However, anyone running for Jesus wins a his own incorruptable crown".........So run, that ye may obtain. (Everlasting Life with Jesus) (1 Corinthians 9:24-27 KJV)
Praise God
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Put it all in His hands. Have a blessed stress-free worry-free day on purpose and never stop believing Jesus paid it all.
