I remember one of my brothers in Christ telling me to stay Brown. For a long time I'd ask him 'What do you mean?' and he'd say 'just stay Brown. I thought to myself who else would I be but Brown. It's been a few years since I heard him say those words to me. I'd like to believe its because I finally learned not to hold back. Don't quench the spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:19).
Just Be
Take of the mask, and be real. That's it! Be transparent. God's Word tells us to confess our sins to, and pray for, one another, and to tell the truth (James 5:16, Ephesians 4:25). The Truth heals. Pretending separates the brethren and prolongs the healing, and causes problems in the body (Church). Be free! You'll not only grow from the experience, but you'll see better, and treat others better. Imitate Jesus. God, He knows the real you."And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect (Romans 12:2)
