When Comforting One Another, Sometimes A Hug will Suffice

Updated: May 3, 2020

There comes a time in life when one may become weak, no matter who he is. Don't feel bad. Periods of weakness happens to even the best of us. It is during those times of weakness, that God doesn't want us to fear. He vows to be with, help, and strengthen us. He will uphold us with the right hand of His righteousness (Isaiah 41:10).

When Comforting The Weary, Brokenhearted.....

When comforting one another always remember to "Do to others as you would have them do to you (Luke 6:31). Let the one who is hurting know that you understand. Be humble...."doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself (Philippians 2:3). Today it is them, tomorrow it may be you. When someone is hurting in his or her spirit it is not the time to be rhetorical, nor is it a time to boast. "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath (James 1:19). Ask the brother or sister, 'Would you mind if I pray with you?' "If you can't do that, a hug will suffice.

Pray One For Another. Remember, Sometimes A Hug Will Suffice.
