Comfort is what most of us want, and need. Peace, quiet, and a sense of physical and mental ease are diligently sought after. However, where to find it seems to escape us. We seek comfort in beds, chairs, spas, getting mani-pedi's, or food to say the least. No matter what we try there seems to be no comfort.
Don't worry about anything; but let everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the Peace of God which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6,7).
Daily focus, faith, and meditation on God's Word is the key to obtaining comfort. Jesus promises a comforter to all who keep His commandments (believe in His Word). No matter what's going on, He promises a comforter. 'And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another comforter, that He may abide with you forever (John 14:16).'
