There is so much sadness, heartache, and depravity in the world.
So many people doing, and condoning evil. Nations and governments dishonoring everything sacred. Violence and all sorts of degradation of life depicted on TV. Who hasn't become desensitized by it all? One has to be careful even as he worships in the house of God.
There is a Balm in Gilead
"Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of My People recovered? (Jeremiah 8:22)."
This is a question that the Lord knows full well the answer. No man can recover the health of hurting, dying humanity; only God can.
