Lost and Found

Sometimes on this path called life we lose our way. Not intending to go to far, only to see what's on the other side: to test the waters. At first glance, it seems like everyone is having a good time on the other side. However, things slowly but surely change.

Lost

Now what? Its not comfortable on this side. Everything I am doing and how I am living goes against everything that has been instilled in me, but I have been here for a little while. I know I need to go back. God, I am ashamed of having left in the first place, but I am hungry. I must swallow my pride and go back: to the One Who loves me for me, to the One Who never changes; back to my Father, said the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-16)

Found

And when he came to himself , he rose up and made his way back to his Father; repenting all the way. And because his Father knew him, He waited; and when He saw His son afar off He ran to him, kissed him, and his Father received Him. The Father cleaned His son up and rejoiced over His son because He loved him (Luke 15:17-24)

Moral of the Story

No one is perfect. For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23). So you fell. You can get back up again. Repent! Make your way back. Do a 180 and turn from those ways that bring guilt and shame to our Father God. You can do it! God....Hallelujah!..He is just to forgive us as long as we confess our sins with a contrite (feeling of remorse) spirit (1 John 1:9), because He loved us before we ever existed. Yes! And there is nothing we can do about it. Now, hold your head up. Square those shoulders back, and Praise the Lord for His Grace and Mercy which Endure Forever.

Stay Yoked to Jesus! and Be Encouraged!
