When you talk with, walk with, wait on, and trust in God, you will never lose. "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all (Psalms 34:17-19). God is with us. He assures us that He will help, and strengthen us in our time of trouble.
God the Refuge of His people
Even when the world seems to be at its end, we [born again believers] have nothing to fear. No breath, strength, or time is lost with God. "God [He] is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge (Psalm 46:1-3,7).
