Why Boast?

"Thus, saith the LORD, let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD (Jeremiah 9:23-24).

Glory In the Lord

We don't have to boast in our wisdom. God put us here not we ourselves. We belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God. Jesus has provided everything we need in Him. He is our sustenance. If we are going to boast about anyone, let it be the Lord.

The Lord Delights in His Children

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:16-17). Just to know the living God and all He has in store for His children; one can only imagine... "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (1 Corinthians 2:9). Only God can reveal those things to us by His Spirit. Jesus said He is the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). The Lord delights in His children. Build a relationship with Him through prayer, and daily devotion, and you will delight in Him too.
