Worldly Things Will Never Meet Our Needs
God is the only One Who can supply all of man's needs. Everything is determined by and through Him. One doesn't even have enough in his spiritual bank account to praise God as he ought. Thankfully, God doesn't judge us on our not measuring up. "God’s righteousness comes through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ for all who have faith in him. There’s no distinction. All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory, (Romans 3:22-23). He searches hearts and knows how the Spirit thinks, because the Holy Spirit is the one who helps us in our weakness pleading for the saints consistent with God’s will (Romans 8:26-27). "Don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters. Every good gift, every perfect gift, comes from above. These gifts come down from the Father, the creator of the heavenly lights, in whose character there is no change at all (James 1:16-17).
