To Be One In Christ You Must Remain In The Vine

In order to be one in Christ, no matter where you are, you must remain in the vine. Jesus is the Vine; the living Word of God. He is our guide (Psalm 119:105). It is God's wisdom Who constantly speaks and calls for our attention; warning us of the danger of rejecting His instruction (Proverbs 1:20-33). God's wisdom has moral benefits as well (Proverbs 2). It washes us. Jesus answered Peter,... "If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me (John 13:8) .” . Remain in the vine. Don't be discouraged, neither despise God's discipline. "For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives. If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? (Hebrews 12:5-7). God will always be with you to show you what to do. "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up (James 4:10). Remain in the vine and be pruned.

Jesus Is the True Vine

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples (John 15:1-8).
