No One Lives or Dies to Themselves

"One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’” (Romans 14:5-11 NIV)

We Are All Accountable to Jesus Christ

Some celebrate Christmas, others Hanukkah. Who are we to condemn one another? We are not God. God's judgement is Righteous. As long as we are convinced in our own minds that we are honoring and giving thanks to God, let freedom ring and keep our opinions to ourselves. We are all accountable to Christ Jesus. His righteous judgement is based on the Word of God. "If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. (Romans 1:8-9 NIV) We will all stand before God. It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’” (Romans 14:11 NIV) "Jesus said: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37-40 NIV)

Praise God

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Put it all in His hands. Have a blessed stress-free worry-free day on purpose, and never stop believing Jesus paid it all.

"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:17 NIV)
