It is the Object of Our Faith, and not Our Faith itself, that Matters

Faith is defined, in the dictionary, as having complete trust or confidence in someone or something:

The scriptures define Faith as "...… the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1 KJV)

What or Who is the Object of Your Faith?

If your answer is in your bank account, vehicle, position at your job, friends, family, children, or religion, then you are standing on sinking sand. There is nothing or no one in this world one can trust completely. Banks crash, vehicles fall apart, jobs lay you off, religion is work, friends and family walk away, and children are disobedient. Still, "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: But we will remember the name of the LORD our God. (Psalm 20:7 KJV) Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who makes the Lord his trust, And does not regard the proud nor those who lapse into lies. (Psalm 40:4 AMP)

How can Man be Counted as Righteous?

Certainly not by works. It is by the Grace of God’s compassion and favor drawing us to Christ that we are saved through faith. There is nothing we have done or can do through our own effort to be counted as righteous. It is a gift of God, so that no one can boast or take credit in any way for his salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9) Faith in God is the only answer. Abraham had faith ".....Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. (Romans 4:3 KJV) He wholeheartedly believed and completely trusted in what God had told him. His faith in God comprehended as fact what he could never have experienced by his physical senses. "God is spirit [the Source of life, yet invisible to mankind], and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24 AMP

Jesus is the Way The Cross is the Means

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:16-17 KJV) And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:27) As believers and followers of Jesus, we must go deeper. Following Christ takes total submission. A wholehearted willingness to suffer some things. In this fallen world all will suffer through in some way or another. However, as long as one is suffering for Jesus' namesake, it will not be in vain. Jesus Christ suffered for us (1 Peter 3:18) "Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. ( Isaiah 53:4 -5KJV) Jesus was made sin for us and he didn't do anything to deserve it. he knew no sin. This was done that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. (2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV).

Thank God for Jesus

If the object of your faith is in anything or anyone other than Jesus, it won't go well for you. Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Put it all in His hands. Have a blessed stress free worry free day on purpose and never stop believing Jesus paid it all.
