From Faith To Faith

God’s righteousness is being revealed in the gospel, from faithfulness for faith, as it is written, The righteous person will live by faith (Romans 1:17). When we place our faith in Jesus' finished work on the Cross, our relationship is made right with God. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

Faith

"Faith is the reality of what we hope for, the proof of what we don’t see (Hebrews 11:1). It’s impossible to please God without faith because the one who draws near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards people who try to find him (11:6). Believing is Just the beginning. We may not understand God's ways, but Faith leaves room for His unexplainable works.

Faith Brings Grace

"You are saved by God’s grace because of your faith. This salvation is God’s gift. It’s not something you possessed. It’s not something you did that you can be proud of (Ephesians 2:8-9). Thank God for the gift of salvation. We could never earn it through what we do; works. No ability, degrees or statuses needed. Just believe.

Faith Brings Justification

"God’s righteousness comes through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ for all who have faith in him. There’s no distinction. All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory, but all are treated as righteous freely by his grace because of the ransom that was paid by Christ Jesus (Romans 3:22-24). Thank God for redemption. Jesus paid it all. You are now justified; forgiven. A believer is considered righteous only by God's imputation of righteousness to him. "Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness (Genesis 15:6). It doesn't matter who you are, or what you have done, you are Justified; declared righteous through your faith/belief in Jesus Christ.

Faith Brings Sanctification

Sanctification is the process of our hearts, minds, and desires being brought into greater conformity with and to God's word. It takes a daily conscious commitment through and by faith. Jesus said, "If any man will come after me, let him [daily] deny himself and take up his cross, and follow me (Matthew 16:24). Submit to God's word. Begin listening to what God has to say. Thereby, your spirit will yoke itself to God's Holy Spirit. The more one listens and obeys God's word, the more his life changes for God's better. God said, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11). It won't be easy because we have lived our lives so long bent towards sin that we crave it. The good news is that, the Gospel of Jesus Christ [Good News] makes change possible. God says, Keep the Faith. “For with God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37).

Faith Brings Glorification

"Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is (1 John 3:1-2). When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe ..... (2 Thessalonians 1:10). Trust God's process; keep the Faith, don't stop believing, listen to, and obey, God. "Therefore, brothers and sisters, be eager to confirm your call and election. Do this and you will never ever be lost. In this way you will receive a rich welcome into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:10-11).

"In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:6).
