"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).
Walk by Faith
While our natural eyes are seeing the temporal results of sickness leading to death, our spiritual eyes see the things that are not temporal, eternal life. This life is not all there is. We cannot see the things of God with the natural eye, "for we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). "....faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is the confident belief in the eternal after life that our Father God has promised us through His Son Jesus Christ' blood shed on the Cross. Both Faith and Eternal Life are a gift from God. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). It takes Faith to see the eternal things of God. Good deeds are not a ticket into Heaven. Only what we do for Christ will Last. Do everything by the power of God not your own intellect.
