"Do not enter the path of the wicked, And do not walk in the way of evil. Avoid it, do not travel on it; Turn away from it and pass on. For they do not sleep unless they have done evil; And their sleep is taken away unless they make someone fall. For they eat the bread of wickedness, And drink the wine of violence (Proverbs 4:14-17)
Don't Enter The Path Of The wicked
Wicked, evil, people do not rest until they cause someone's downfall (Proverbs 4:16). It'll be in all they do and in everything they say. Do not enter the path of the wicked; avoid it (Proverbs 4:14-15). Now here's the tricky part. The devil is the master deceiver (John 8:44). He uses friends, family, even church leaders. You'll know them by their fruits.. (Matthew 7:16). "For they eat the bread of wickedness, And drink the wine of violence (Proverbs 4:17).
Hold To God's Word
We all need sound, truly edifying; life saving doctrine. The only way to get it is by and through the Holy Word of God. "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). Man can not live by bread alone... (Matthew 4:4). The Word will be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6). Repent, 'Reject every kind of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22). Ground and root yourself in Christ Jesus. He said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.(John 3:3). "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). "Put on the whole armor of God, that you/we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:11-12).
