Be Wise in Your Giving

"There is the one who [generously] scatters [abroad], and yet increases all the more.

And there is the one who withholds what is justly due, but it results only in want and poverty. The generous man [is a source of blessing and] shall be prosperous and enriched, and he who waters will himself be watered [reaping the generosity he has sown] Proverbs 11:24-25).

What you give, you gain, and what you keep you lose

Are You a Wise Man or a Foolish One?

Some people don't mind sharing or rather giving to a cause, or to the less fortunate. Others believe that the more they save to themselves the more they will have. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 11:24-25 that when one freely gives, he becomes richer or rather gains more. Some may look at this an impossible thing, but God is the One Who knows man's heart. He will bless the blesser with spiritual richness which is something that money cannot buy. On the other hand, those who try and save money to themselves never seem to have enough because there is no such thing as enough when it comes to the love of money. I myself have learned this to be true. It is like trying to put money into a pocket riddled with holes -Haggai 1:6. God will not allow it. He said, consider your ways (Haggai 1:7) Be generous, and you will be prosperous. Help others, and you will be helped. Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again (Luke 6:38).

Give Freely

".....He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:6-7).
