Man has the tendency to say great and wonderful things out of his mouth, but God searches the heart. He is the Lord who searches our hearts, and tries the reigns, to give us according to our ways, and according to the fruit of our doing (Jeremiah 17:10). A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. The mouth speaks what the heart is full of ( Luke 6:45). God knows that when we honor Him with our lips, our hearts are far from what we are saying (Matthew 15:8). Let your heart speak the love that your mouth is saying.
Prayer
Lord forgive me of my sins. Come into my life. Restore me. Baptize me in Your Holy Spirit. Purge me of every evil word and deed. Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean, wash me, and I will be whiter than snow (Psalm 51:7). Let the words of my mouth, AND the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my Strength, and my Redeemer (Psalm 19:14).
Get Right With God
Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God (Matthew 5:8).
