God desires to have fellowship with us. Unfortunately, like Adam and Eve, we hide from God when we hear Him approaching. Following Christ is not to be looked at as a secular game of hide and go seek where, no matter the choices we make, everyone lives. Ready or not, Jesus is coming back.
Hide and Go Seek
Following Christ is not a secular game of Hide and go seek. Yes! we ..seek Him while He may be found.... (Isaiah 55:6). However, God says, "Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord; But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death (Proverbs 8:34-36). There is no middle ground. God desires obedience (Isaiah 1:10-11). Keep watch, otherwise God may arrive without notice and find you sleeping (Mark 13:36).
"When you seek God with your whole heart you shall find Him (Jeremiah 29:13).
