Your dash is the time you have between your birth date and your death date. It is our life span which is shorter than we know (James 4:14). Yes live your life to the fullest. It is a gift from God. However, always keep God first. From the time one is able to make his own decisions, he should be mindful of how he lives his dash.
Here Today Gone Tomorrow
Because we don't know what tomorrow will bring, we should be mindful of how we live today. "Our days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if our strength endures; yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away (Psalm 90:10). So.....'Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also (Mathew 6:19-21). And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of Jesus, our Lord, giving thanks to God our Father (Colossians 3:17).
