"Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee. Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee. Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm. Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous. A Change In Character
The Spirit of Christ Characterizes all who believe in Him. That is, if you are a 'true' believer in Christ Jesus, there ought to be a change in your character. If you can help it, keep the peace always (Romans 12:18). All hatred should be meet with love, not retaliation. Never forsake the Word of God (Galatians 1:9). Help those who are in need."Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans (Proverbs 16:3)
Stay Focused
Don't look to the world for sustenance because this causes the spirit to war within. Remember, "every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord where, in Him, there is no variation or shadow of turning (James 1:17). God is waiting, and willing, to bless us so we can bless others. "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Mathew 6:33). Be humble and stay focused strictly on Christ Jesus, and His finished work on the Cross.
Prayer
Father God, In a world that is ever changing, please help us through your Holy Spirit to stay focused on Your Son Jesus and what He has already accomplished on the Cross. Amen!
