To broaden means to make wider; to increase the range of. The territory is one's field of knowledge, interest, understanding, or experience. There are many ways one may broaden his territory. One may research, stay committed, familiarize himself with, and/or practice, through participation, to gain experience with/in the object of his affection/interest. But Jabez prayed. "And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested (1 Chronicles 4:10).
Jabez Prayed!
Everyone, who believes, may pray for his/her territory to be enlarged. God says to A.S.K. "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened (Mathew 7:7-8). God blesses the believer with a greater vision. He keeps His hand stayed on those who believe in Him, so that His purpose be fulfilled. God said "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11). God keeps His promises, and His children from seen and unseen dangers (psalm 91). God did it for Jabez, and He will do it for whosoever will believe in Him.
