Take The Helmet Of Salvation, Protect Your righteous Mind

Take The Helmet Of Salvation..(Ephesians 6:17)

Helmets are a protective head covering worn by soldiers, firefighters, divers, cyclists, children, sportsman, boxers etc. Helmets have been worn since the time of antiquity; it was a medieval armor for the head. When a soldier suits up for battle, the helmet is, usually, the last piece of armor to go on as a final act of readiness in preparation for combat.

The helmet is most essential for survival because it protects the brain, which is where the rest of the body receives its commands. If the head was badly damaged, the rest of the armor would be of little to no use.

Take the helmet of salvation,

The helmet of Salvation is a spiritual helmet. To take the helmet of salvation is to take and have with and on us an inaccessible defense against anything the enemy throws at us, such as his influences and or ideas. Nothing contrary to God’s Word can penetrate the helmet of Salvation.

*The helmet of salvation protects our righteous minds.

*We must protect our righteous minds

As it is written In the book of *(Isaiah 1:5), there is a correlation between the head and the heart. It states that, “If the head be sick the whole heart faints. The helmet of salvation is an essential, if not thee most essential, part of God’s Armour. God’s helmet of Salvation protects us from our sin nature, and delivers us of our own stinking thinking.

Without God’s helmet of salvation, what in the world would we be thinking about?

We must allow God’s helmet of Salvation to help us adapt to His (God’s) principles, and perspective, so that nothing negative, worldly, or sinister lodge, or take up residency in our mind.

God’s helmet of salvation reminds us in the book of *(John 3:16 and 1 Corinthians 6:20) that God loved us so much that He sent His son Jesus to die for us; We are bought with a price.

*We must Protect Our righteous minds.

When man takes God’s helmet of Salvation he is taking onto himself the mind of Christ as it is written in the book of *(Philippians 2:5), "Let this mind be in you, which is also in Christ Jesus. We are to be of one sound unwavering mind. Because as it is written in the book of *(James 1:8), "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. God’s helmet of Salvation is the reason why the renewing of the mind is possible. It admonishes us, as it is written in the book of *(Galations 5:16), to walk in the spirit, so that we don’t fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

God’s helmet of Salvation is the secret to being content in Christ Jesus.

Like Paul who, in the book of *(Philippians 4:11-13), learned to be content with a lot or a little, whether well fed or hungry, living in abundance or in need, we also learn to be content. God’s Helmet of Salvation Keeps the believer focused on God’s will, His Way, and His promises.

*We must protect our righteous minds.

The book of *(Romans 12:2) warns us to remain consecrated; "not to be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but to be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].

God’s helmet of Salvation helps us to walk by Faith and not by sight; calling those things that are not as though they are,

because, as it is written in the book of *(Ephesians 6:12), “we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, and powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places…In times of trouble God’s helmet of Salvation helps us just as it did the Israelite's in the book of *(Exodus 14:13), to have no fear, stand firm, and see the salvation of our Lord; understanding that our mind is where the battle is. As we prepare for battle against Satan’s attacks, remember to put on God’s helmet of Salvation, because our Salvation is not limited to a one-time act of the past or even a future hope. But God’s salvation is an ongoing, eternal state that we, as His children, enjoy in the present, and on a daily basis. In the book of *(Isaiah 26:3) we are informed that “God will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on Him-in both inclination and character], Because such a one trusts and takes refuge in God [with hope and confident expectation]. Perfect Peace means that, The devil may come to the gate, but he cannot enter the city. God’s helmet of Salvation protects our Righteous minds.

God’s helmet of Salvation helps us

God's helmet of salvation helps us, as it is written in the book of *(Philippians 3:14, Psalms 121:1,2), to press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus, ever looking toward the hills from whence cometh our help knowing that all of our help comes from the Lord God, who made heaven and earth.

We Must Protect our Righteous Mind’s.
