Eternal life is what God gives to man freely, through His Son's (Jesus Christ) sacrifice and blood shed on the Cross (whosoever will). It is what the soul craves, however is unable to attain, or comprehend without Christ Jesus."For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
Are You A Disciple?
Jesus said, "He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto Life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. (John 12:25-26). "...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).
If one cannot see past himself, he will never see God. Man must come to an understanding that Christ is the head, the center, and above all; self last Christ first. No other Gods before Him. Jesus said, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me (Mathew 16:24).
