Final means not to be altered or undone. God's decree, which was foreordained, cannot be undone."In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1). Jesus said, "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night come, when no man can work (John 9:4). "Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end (Revelation 22:12,13). Jesus has the final say.
Jesus came to be sacrificed, by crucifixion, in order to pay man's sin debt. He showed the world what God's grace and mercy looked like in action; in the flesh. "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14). Before Jesus' crucifixion, Jesus experienced trials and tribulations as man experienced them. However, He knew He had to do the works of God. The blind received their sight, the lame walked, the lepers cleansed, the deaf made to hear, the raised up, and the gospel preached to the poor (Mathew 11:5). After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost (John 19:28-30).
Because of Jesus' shed blood on the Cross, as an atonement for our sins, The blind are continuing to receive their sight, the lame are still being made to walk, the lepers are being cleansed, the deaf are hearing, the dead are being raised up, and the gospel is still preached to the poor. No matter what you are going through, Jesus has the final say. He paved the Way. He told His disciples, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man come unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). Jesus said he's coming back. If any man has an ear, let him hear (Revelation 13:9). And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last (Revelation 22:12,13). Jesus has the final say.
Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near (Isaiah 55:6).
