We Are Our Brother's Keeper

There are many ways to be our brother's keeper. Providing food, clothing, shelter, or financial assistance are all substantial ways to help one in his or her time of need. Those are most important when it comes to sustaining life and physical health. However, there is another way that one may help his brother, which takes into consideration his mental health.

Mental Health

According to Mental Health. org, mental health consists of our emotional, psychological, and social well-being, which affect all of our behaviors: how we think, feel, act, handle stress, relate to others, and make choices.

Reach Out

1) Consider offering your organization’s meeting spaces for community conversations and support groups focused on addressing mental health issues.

2) Allow people to tell their story.

3) Support community programs that encourage social participation and inclusion for all people.

We all have a purpose in Christ Jesus
