7 Steps to an Optimal State of Mental and Emotional Well-being


1) In everything give thanks to God.

His mercy endures forever (Psalms 136)

2) Continually meditate on what God says about you

He knows the thoughts that He thinks of you, thoughts of peace, and not evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11)

3) Stay clear of drugs, alcohol, and other risky behavior.

For rebellion is as the sin of whitchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23)

4) Get plenty of rest.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him... (Psalms 37:7)

5) Exercise your mind.

Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman who needs not to be ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15).

6) Don't worry.

Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God (Philippians 4:6)

7) Let go of past hurts; forgive, and move on.

If the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed (John 8:36)
