Stay yoked to Jesus and never look back, because "No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God (Luke 9:62). One must be totally committed to diligently seek, and trust, Jesus in order to please God. It will take a leap of faith. "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6). One must also consider the cost.
Consider The Cost
Consider the cost before endeavouring to do any thing. There will be some things that one must give up and turn his back on. The fist thing would be to repent; turn from wicked, worldly, and self-centered ways. "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Mathew 16:26). Don't let any one distract you from God's Will and His Way. Jesus said, "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple (Luke 14:26). It is Christ over everything and everyone "For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us! (Romans 8:18).
