The Enemy In Your Home

An enemy is one that is antagonistic; showing dislike or opposition to another. He is on who seeks to injure, overthrow, or confound his opponent. What do yo do when your enemy resides in your own household?

The Enemy Is In The House

"And a man's foes shall be they of his own household (Mathew 10:36). What household? It may be your immediate household, church family, or your physical household, that is your mental household. The enemy is tricky. His name is Satan. All he needs is to be allowed a foothold. In our homes, churches, and, more importantly, our minds we have to stand against Satan with the Word of God. We must let our yes be yes and our no be no, rebuking anything contrary to God's Word. We must remember that Christ came to sacrifice himself for us, so that we may fellowship with Him."The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

"If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be like minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:1-5).

We Are Not The Enemy

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). Our enemies are not human, however if we give Satan a foothold into our spirit he can become a stronghold, and use us to do his will. The battle is not ours, it is between God and Satan which Satan is already defeated. "Put on the whole Armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil ....(Ephesians 6:11-18).

We Are Not The Enemy. Don't Allow Satan to Use You.
