No one said that life was going to be easy. Sometimes up and sometimes down, but through it all we can learn to trust and surrender to Jesus.
No matter what you or I do, it is impossible to out run God. I learned that, "If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there ( Psalm 139:8). While we try to live our lives without God, He's waiting on us. Jesus said, "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Mathew 11:28-30).
How Does One Surrender?
First one must repent. "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Once the turn around is made, and your old way forsaken, then you can begin your walk with God. Jesus said,"If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you (John 15:7). “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world (John 16:33). And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If you will God can give you peace, but you must come to Jesus.
Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6).
Surrender all to Jesus
