Faith, Hope, and Charity

Life is precious. Everyday that man wakes is a blessing from God. Each day, and moment, is a sign of God's Grace and Mercy which brings with it a chance to have faith, hope, and charity.

To have Faith means to have a firm belief in something for which there is no proof; something, or someone, that is believed with strong conviction. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

To have Hope is to have an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes. No matter the situation or circumstance, we must continue to hope beyond hope. "But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience (Romans 6:25).

To have Charity means to have a benevolent goodwill toward or love of humanity.

"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love (charity). But the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13).

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres ( 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7).

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength, and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these (Mark 12:30-31).

Love Never Fails. God Is Love
