Walk in the Newness of Life

To live new lives we must repent. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). The new life in Christ comes to us as a result of Christ death, burial and resurrection. Renew your mind in the Word of God; learn the truth. Apply its truths into your daily thinking, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). If we change our thoughts, we change our live's.

Stay Focused!

No more stinking thinking. Rebuke negative thoughts; thoughts that make you doubt your freedom in Christ. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalt's itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Think positive thoughts. Yes, negative thoughts are normal, but they are not meant to take up residency in your mind.Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.(Philippians 4:8-9)

Keep Pressing

Continue in the Word of God. The life that comes in to us, into our spirits, comes from the Word of God, and that life is the Word; and God’s word never fails.

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God ( Romans 6:12-13). For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).
