Burnout and ways to Avoid it.
According to Psychology Today, burnout is a state of chronic stress that leads to:
physical and emotional exhaustion - chronic fatigue, lack concentration, can't sleep, physical symptoms (dizziness, headache, various pains), depleted immune system, anxiety depression, loss of appetite
cynicism and detachment - no joy, pessimist attitude, want to isolate and or detach from others, lack of productivity and performance
feelings of ineffectiveness and lack of accomplishment - incomplete projects, longer to do lists .
